The Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretariat for Investment Partnerships (SPI), is publishing this Friday (13th) the International Tender Notice No. 05/2025 for the sponsored concession of the Crossing System. The project includes the operation, maintenance, and investment in passenger and vehicle waterway transport.
The initiative foresees the modernization and expansion of 14 routes, including the crossings between Santos and Guarujá, São Sebastião and Ilhabela, as well as connections in the Vale do Ribeira, North Coast, Metropolitan Region, and the Paraibuna Reservoir.
The contract includes estimated investments of R$2 billion. The concession will allow for fleet renewal with electric vessels, terminal improvements, and the adoption of new technologies, promoting greater comfort, safety, and sustainability.
The public notice, contract, and annexes will be available on the SPI website (www.parceriaseminvestimentos.sp.gov.br) and in the concession’s Data Room. Documents can also be obtained in person at the SPI headquarters upon presentation of a digital storage device.
Envelope submission will take place on October 13, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the B3 headquarters (Street XV de Novembro, 275, Downtown São Paulo). Proposal opening will occur on October 17, 2025, starting at 4:00 p.m., at the same location.
