The Government of São Paulo, through the Secretariat for Partnerships and Investments (SPI), announces that this is the final week to submit contributions to the public consultation for the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project for Urban Development and Housing in the central region of the capital. The deadline ends next Friday (7).
The initiative is part of the state’s downtown revitalization policy, aimed at expanding the housing supply, attracting new investments, and promoting the region’s economic and social development. The project foresees the construction of 6,575 new housing units and an estimated investment of R$ 2.5 billion, including units for Social Housing (HIS) and Affordable Market Housing (HMP), as well as infrastructure works, installation of public facilities, and initiatives to foster economic and social activities in the surrounding areas.
The project materials are available in a data room, upon request via email at ppphabitacaocentro@cpp.sp.gov.br. Only contributions submitted within the deadline and with all required information properly completed will be considered. It is also possible to access the documents and obtain more information on the project’s page on the SPI website.
Public Hearings
In addition to the public consultation, two public hearings were also held in October to present and discuss the project and clarify questions. The sessions were broadcast on the official YouTube channel of the Government of São Paulo.
