The São Paulo State Government’s mission to China continues with a series of technical meetings focused on infrastructure innovation and the modernization of rail mobility. In Beijing, the São Paulo delegation met with representatives from the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) and PowerChina, global players in major engineering projects. The meetings addressed topics such as urban redevelopment and integrated solutions for the West Axis Intercity Train, including station upgrades in Sorocaba and São Roque, and the construction of the new Brigadeiro Tobias station, with estimated investment of R$ 37 million.
Also in the Chinese capital, the group met with the China Construction Bank (CCB) to discuss financial instruments applicable to public concessions. The delegation is led by the Secretary for Investment Partnerships (SPI), Rafael Benini, and includes the President of ARTESP, André Isper, and the Director of Corporate Affairs at CPP, Augusto Almudin.
“We are presenting a strong portfolio, with legal predictability and a focus on efficient and sustainable solutions. The warm reception at every meeting confirms the growing international interest in São Paulo’s projects,” said Rafael Benini.
