Concession of lines 11, 12, and 13 will reduce train intervals and ensure faster access to downtown São Paulo

Line 11 will offer service every three minutes between Barra Funda and Suzano

The concession of the Alto Tietê Lot, which includes urban train Lines 11, 12, and 13, will reduce train intervals on lines currently operated by the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM).

Line 11–Coral will operate with trains every three minutes between Palmeiras–Barra Funda and Suzano, and every six minutes between Suzano and Cezar de Souza. Currently, the average interval is 3.5 minutes between Luz and Guaianases, and seven minutes between Guaianases and Estudantes.

On Line 12–Sapphire, the current interval is five minutes between Brás and Itaquaquecetuba, and ten minutes between Itaquaquecetuba and Calmon Viana. With the concession, the new interval will be 3 minutes and 15 seconds between Brás and Itaquaquecetuba, and 6.5 minutes between Itaquaquecetuba and Suzano.

For Line 13–Jade, the train interval will be reduced to 10 minutes—down from the current 15 minutes. The line will be extended in both directions, connecting Gabriela Mistral to Bonsucesso. The Airport Express will operate every 30 minutes during off-peak hours and every hour during peak times, with service between Palmeiras–Barra Funda and Guarulhos Airport. The express service will also gain a new stop at the future Gabriela Mistral station, offering connections to Metro Line 2–Green and urban train Line 12–Sapphire.

The concession of the Alto Tietê Lot includes R$ 14.3 billion in investments and improvements for the population, as well as the extension of 25.7 km of new tracks. Together, the three lines are expected to transport an average of 1.3 million passengers per weekday by 2040.

All planned improvements and investments, broken down by railway line, are available on the project page, which can be accessed by clicking here.
