The public consultation for the concession of the Rota Mogiana Lot, an initiative by the São Paulo State Government through the Secretariat of Investment Partnerships (SPI), ends this Friday (March 21). All contributions submitted will be reviewed and may be incorporated into the final project. The form for submitting suggestions is available on the SPI’s official website.

Last week, the SPI held three public hearings to present the project and gather community input. The sessions took place in person in São João da Boa Vista (March 12) and Mococa (March 13), along with a hybrid session at Artesp headquarters in São Paulo (March 14).

The Rota Mogiana Lot will include 385 kilometers of highways and will directly benefit 19 municipalities. The project involves R$ 6 billion in investments in duplications, additional lanes, shoulders, pedestrian overpasses, and other infrastructure improvements.

In addition to mobility and infrastructure improvements, the concession is expected to have a direct impact on the regional economy, with the creation of over 7,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The publication of the official bidding notice is scheduled for July 2025, with the auction planned for November and the contract signing set for January 2026. Installation of the electronic toll gantries is expected to begin in November 2026.
